Donation Receipt System is an instant download. Sample data in the demo file is fictional and clearly marked.

January is when a small finance office discovers that the gifts it acknowledged by email, by letter and by hand do not add up to the same total as the bank.

The fix is structural rather than clerical: enter every gift once, then produce every donor document from that single record. Keep the thank-you letter apart from the tax statement, because the two say different things and the rules behind them differ by country. Decide in advance what goes on a receipt in each jurisdiction you fundraise in, and leave impact sentences empty until someone can point to the figure behind them.

Done that way, the year-end run becomes a reconciliation instead of a reconstruction, and a donor who queries a statement can be answered from the same row that produced it.

The Donation Receipt System pairs a 24-sheet Excel workbook, shipped as a DEMO edition with a complete fictional year and a BLANK edition with the same formulas, with eight Canva template links covering four collections in US Letter and A4, all tested from a browser not signed in to Canva. The guides and toolkit ZIP adds a Quick Start guide, five country guides (United States, UK Gift Aid, Ireland, the German official-form workflow and a custom European country), an implementation toolkit of seven checklists and worksheets plus two editable Word templates, and the Canva kit ships with a 14-email donor pack and a copy library.

It is not legal, tax or filing advice, and it is not a universal tax receipt: there is no single EU tax receipt, so each country profile flags records for your review. For Germany it prepares the data for the prescribed form rather than imitating it. It is not a CRM, an accounting system or an email tool, and it submits no Gift Aid or ROS claims.
