Manufacturing Operations Management Bundle is an instant download. Sample data in the demo file is fictional and clearly marked.
Demand sits in one file, bills of materials in another, stock in a notebook and purchase orders in an inbox. When a component runs short, the line finds out on the shop floor.
A small manufacturer does not need minute-by-minute scheduling to fix that; it needs one weekly cycle that everybody follows. Approve the master production schedule, run the material requirements against your bills of materials, and let purchasing work from net need rather than from memory. Planning weekly is a deliberate choice, not a shortcoming — it matches the rhythm a two-to-thirty-person plant can actually keep.
The other half is a single stock ledger. Every receipt, issue, output, transfer and count posted once, in one place, is what makes stock balance, location and lot views agree with each other and with the floor.
The Manufacturing Operations Management Bundle puts that chain in 31 connected sheets, shipped as a DEMO workbook filled with a fictional candle maker and a BLANK workbook with the same formulas and dropdowns. MRP runs through bills of materials with up to six planning levels for the week you select; purchase lines carry supplier, due date and received quantity with late lines on the dashboard; work orders record material issue, good output and scrap; capacity is loaded against available hours by work centre; and quality holds inspection results, holds and release with yield and scrap rate. Two dashboards cover the executive view — inventory value, critical shortages, late purchase lines, capacity risk, schedule adherence — and the operations view. With them come 28 Canva boards in six families for daily production control, inventory, quality, SQDCP KPI boards and standard work, five Word documents including a 16-SOP manual, and eight PDF guides running to 211 pages.
It is not an ERP, an accounting ledger or a compliance certificate, and costing is an operational estimate rather than your books. You post each receipt, issue and output by hand, once; nothing posts automatically and there are no scripts, add-ins or macros. Both workbooks were tested in Google Sheets on 23 October 2026, where all 31 sheets imported with no error values and 329,889 formula results matched an independent calculation, and in Microsoft Excel for the web on 24 October 2026. Desktop Excel for Windows and Mac was not available for testing, so no desktop version is promised.
